first of all - this evening, Penelope Teapot are attending a charity auction. we have been very busy getting bits prepared for this and there will be photo's of the evening put up soon. I (Sarah Teapot) spent AGES cross stitching this:
so let's hope it goes to a good home. Somewhere where they drink loads of tea would be nice :)
Still on the subject of cross stitch, a new cross stitch kit is now available! YAAAAAY! it's super cute.
who doesn't love cupcakes? it's now available at Purlesque (at the Bluecoat in Liverpool) and will be available to buy online next week.
so other than cross stitching in the garden (the weather has been lovely!), i have been reading lots of Otomen manga <3
it's brilliant! about a boy who knits, crochets and cooks brilliant cute things, but has to hide it from everyone because it's not 'manly'. Of course, WE know it's manly, he just thinks it is not. anyway, it's all very cute with a nice little love story.
speaking of cooking.... i have been baking! I try not to eat dairy, so I've finally got round to finding some good recipes for snacks. I made these 'scones' but i call them scone cookies because they're shaped like cookies. i also left out the lemon so they're just plain, but they are YUMMY! I recommend having a go, yum yum yum.
