Wednesday wantings 45

Wednesday wantings 45

  1. Batman Crop
  2. Foxy Hat
  3. Squirrel Clock
  4. Micky Mouse Body
  5. Slouchy Knits
  6. Woodland Tote
  7. Unicorn Tote
  8. Cat Print Top

All I seem to wear at the moment are slouchy knitted jumpers.  They probably make my short frame look like a potato, but I just love them and they're so comfy!  These Topshop ones (no.5) are a bit expensive for me, but the colours are perfect.

ANYONE out there who wants to buy me presents, no.6 and no.7 would be nice please! (hehe)
I can see myself using both of these bags every day.

For those who missed my earlier post, I'm selling some knitting/craft books on eBay: MY EBAY

*No Effort Granny Square Cushion

A few weeks ago I was asked if I wanted a freebie from the website Bags of Love
They specialise in bags and home ware but very much personalised as you want them.  Most of the products are photo print, so you would send them a photo to put on a bag/cushion/duvet cover etc.

As I've not long moved in to a new place, there are still loads of things I need, so I thought a cushion for my sofa would be brilliant.  However, I couldn't imagine myself lying on the couch with my head on a picture of someones face, so I decided to go for a crochet themed cushion.
I've been making a granny square blanket (for what seems like forever) and thought it would look pretty good if I took a close up photo of that and had it printed on a large cushion.... so I did.

Cushion looking lovely on my sofa

His and Hers cushions!

I'm really happy with this cushion.  It will look even better when I get round to finishing my matching blanket for the other couch.  So thank you Bags of Love, I love it!!!

I want to buy more time to knit.

The only thing I'm short of at the moment is time.
There are so many creative things I want to be doing, but I never seem to find the time.  That's the downside of having to work full time I suppose, as well as having a couple of extra curricular activities to take care of.  My crochet blanket is coming along well though.  I'll get some pictures up soon, when my Internet is back (I'm at mummy and daddy's hogging their computer right now)

Anywho, here's a couple of ravelry beauties I want to have a go at....

Gorgeous owl tea cozy.  I love old fashioned home ware... but if it's owl themed it's even better!

Rilakkuma hat.  This Japanese character is everywhere, and personally I find him very cute.

This owl jumper is lovely. I purchased the magazine it came in just for this jumper, but came across some other gems in there too, so it was a good purchase!  I'm definitely going to knit this.  Not in grey mind, I'm thinking maroon.

This hooded cardigan was in the magazine too, I love it.  Very red ridding hood!

Another hooded cardigan I'm keen on....

I'm really in to hoody's at the moment.  Knitted ones are even better.  I'm really in the mood for a bit project too, so one of these would be perfect.  The summer has been pretty awful here, I'm still cold all the time.  I'd love a chunky aran hoody right now!

Dear all...

Dear all,
I am having major Internet issues.... again.  I think my dongle (?) has packed in.
I'm so sorry for vanishing :( apart from the Internet issues I have worked a ridiculous amount of days in a row.
So pretty much I'm a grumpy guts at the moment!

All shall return to normal when a new Internet thingy bit has arrived!

P.S
My Vogue Knitting mag has arrived, so at least I have something to do while I'm not blogging!
